UK Science Park Association
|
UKSPA was the first association set up to represent and support science parks. It was set up by science park managers over 21 years ago and membership has grown each year. UKSPA now represents 70 science parks and technology-based incubators in the UK and 10 developing parks. The parks and incubators support over 2,500 innovation-based companies who employ over 65,000 people. The association's brand is highly valued in the UK and overseas. It is regarded as an authoritative and independent body for the planning, development and creation of science parks globally. Over the last five years the association has developed an outstanding database of contacts which is used to mail out the tri-annual publication “Innovation into Success” and the annual UKSPA Directory. The UKSPA website receives over 60,000 visits each month and provides access to many services for both science park managers and their tenants. UKSPA members’ meetings are convened three times each year and are key opportunities for networking, marketing and professional development. The association has grown considerably over the last 18 months - a testament to the increasing value of the network to the innovation sector in the UK. The network attracts interest and support from both the public and private sector.
