Colworth Science Park, the Bedfordshire science park managed in a joint venture between Unilever and the international property group Goodman, has won a planning appeal and received planning permission for a development that will attract two of the world’s best academic institutions to the park. Colworth Science Park is a Joint Venture between Unilever and Goodman. In February 2008, the Joint Venture submitted a planning application for a replacement Catering / Conferencing building and a new Innovation Centre to provide laboratory and office accommodation for academics and start-up R&D businesses. It has been suggested that client centered counselling approaches may be more effective in achieving changes in physical activity levels & healthy eating behaviour than the more traditional educational approaches.
