Colworth Science Park offers an exceptionally secure environment for both the people who work there and the assets of businesses operating on the Park.

To achieve this, the Park has various "levels" of security, which include:

A robust and alarmed perimeter fence with one CCTV-monitored general entrance
Vehicle entry control via a manned Gatehouse for visitors and deliveries, or automated monitored entry for those who work on the Park
CCTV cameras and recording equipment designed to monitor the Park perimeter, and to allow identifiable entry to the Park outside normal working hours
24 hour manned security able to respond to emergencies or alarms within the Park
Security patrols of the Park, which enhance staff safety and security, as well as helping protect assets.

In addition, all existing buildings at Colworth Science Park have an electronic security system, which can provide the following:

Monitored access into buildings
Integrated security features, such as motion detection alarms, or forced entry/exit alarms
The security system can be fully integrated with equipment outputs, such as freezers, to create monitored alarms in the event of critical equipment failure
24 hour Fire Alarm monitoring.
