Personalised mobile health company Concepta announced on Wednesday that it has moved its UK laboratory operations to a new site at Colworth Park in Bedfordshire, doubling the size of its operational headquarters.
The AIM-traded firm said the new laboratory opening is in line with its strategy of increasing its operational capacity and economies of scale as it moves towards launching its My Lotus product for unexplained infertility into China in H2 2016 and, following CE marking, into the UK and Europe in 2017.

Colworth House has signed up more than a dozen new tenants, just a few months after opening its doors following renovation works. The iconic Grade II* listed mansion house, situated at the centre of Colworth Park, is fast-becoming the thriving business hub set out in renovation plans.
Over 500 people from the local community headed to Colworth Park at the weekend for our popular summer fete.
The well-attended community event was held on Saturday 30th July, in the grounds of our 91-acre science park, near the village of Sharnbrook.
AgPlus Diagnostics pioneer device to monitor elephant pregnancy

Innovative Colworth Park tenant, AgPlus Diagnostics Ltd, are working with the veterinary team at ZSL to develop a specific, point of care immunoassay system capable of monitoring pregnancy in elephants on-site at Whipsnade Zoo.
The device will be used onsite by their veterinary team, who are world-leaders in elephant conservation.
A recent report published by GVA, spotlights Colworth Park’s role in The Midlands Engine; a regional power house recognised for propelling growth. This collective of 77 local authorities from across the West Midlands and the East Midlands government regions, three from the East of England, two in the South East and two in Yorkshire and the Humber, is one of the larger regional powerhouses.
