Scientific Services

The various on-site scientific support teams cover a wide range of disciplines and can provide expert advice including microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, raman and infrared spectroscopy, analytical chemistry, microbiology, safety risk and environmental impact assessments, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental sustainability (life cycle analysis) and occupational safety, to name but a few.

Sensory Science

The Sensory Science team has over 20 years of sensory testing experience, specialising in leading edge sensory techniques including descriptive analysis, discrimination testing, time intensity and texture profiling.

Laboratory and Office Services

The on-site Facilities Management team undertakes a wide range of statutory maintenance activities on behalf of our occupiers, including fume cupboard testing and certification, pressure systems testing, electrical testing, water quality monitoring, lifting gear certification, emergency light testing and fire alarm servicing.

Laboratory Supply Discounts

A dedicated account management service is available for laboratory supplies from VWR and others at discounted prices.

Agricultural Research

Combinable crop trials, farm systems and environmental research have been conducted for many years on the arable and grassland farm surrounding the Park by a dedicated and experienced team, who can provide these services to companies on the Park. Glasshouse facilities are also available.

Engineering Design and Prototyping

Experienced staff and fully equipped workshops provide all facilities to design, manufacture, assemble, test, install and commission plant, ranging from component prototypes and scientific apparatus to complete machines and production lines.

Waste Management

The on-site team also provides waste management services for foul sewage and other normal business waste.
